Have you ever heard of The Boston Tea Party? No well I'm going to tell you about it.Oh by the way The Boston Tea Party was not a huge tea party in Boston.
The Boston Tea Party happened after the Boston Massacre. The British got rid of all the taxes except taxing them on tea. They did that because they wanted the colonists to know they were still in control.
Of course the colonists were mad because they loved tea.So they refused to by tea. So that was bad for the British East Company that made lots of its money from tea.
On the night of December 16,1773 Samuel Adams and the sons of liberty dressed up as American Indians and threw 343 crates of tea into the Boston Harbor.
