PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE BOSTON TEA PARTY

ROBBIE PEARSON

WHEN?

342 Chests of tea were thrown from the ships.

45 tons o tea!! That’s about as heavy as 20 giraffes!
The sons of liberty protested (Mainly) and upon the ships arrival they ordered for the ships to go back to England.
After a refusal they were outraged and in the evening a group of 100 sons of liberty boarded the ship and through the tea overboard.
This may sound easy but this took around 3 hours to remove the tea from the ship.

FUN FACT

A VECTOR ART PIECE OF MEN AWAITING AT THE SHIPS PORT.
In todays money the tea lost in the Boston Tea party would cost 1 million dollars.
(Keep in mind that much money was a lot more at the time even if today it is a lot)
