THE BRAIN

BY KACY HAWKINS HR ROYSTER

When you scratch your face or zip up your Jacket you are using your brain.

The left hemisphere of your brain controls you to read or do math or speak.

The right hemisphere of your brain allows you to do musical and artistic creations.

There are 28 bones that make up the human skull.

Inside your skull you have your brain that sits in a Juice or liquid.

Our brain is made of really small and microscopic cells and most of them are called neurons.

Your brain stops growing when you are 7 years old.

The thinnest nerves could be as wide as a single hair.

The thickest nerves could be as wide as a rope.

20 bones make up the face and Jaw.

If you have a bunch of neurons in a group it is called a nerve.

Nerves do not touch so a message has to jump from each nerve.

The human brain weighs around three pounds.

The blood vessels in your brain will bring your brain dissolved food, oxygen and water that it will need to work.

A human brain is the biggest brain when it is compared to body size.
