PATRIOT STRENGTHS

• Knew the land very well
• Their commander is General Washington who was an experienced military leader.
• They received help from overseas
• They were defending their homes

BRITISH WEAKNESS

• Expensive to send supplies and soldiers
• The news for the battles arrived in England long after they had occurred.
• Lord George Germain chose to direct them and he had poor leadership
• They weren't at their home
• No support from home

PATRIOT WEAKNESSES

• Not enough uniforms
• Short supply of food
• They only had about 20000 troops
• Guns and gunpowder were scarce
