COMMON COLD
- The common cold is large number of viruses
- Located towards the upper region of your respiratory system.
SYMPTOMS
- Runny or stuffy nose, itchy or sore throat, cough, congestion
- Slight body aches or a mild headache, sneezing,
- Watery eyes, low-grade fever, and mild fatigue.
HOW IS IT CONTRACTED?
- Contracted by air borne viruses
- Made direct contact with the infectious object
IS IT CONTAGIOUS?
- Yes it is contagious but not as much as other diseases.
HOW MANY CASES WERE THERE IN THE US IN 2013
- There are over one billion colds each year in the United States.
DO CHILDREN GET IT?
- Yes children get the common cold
- every single kid in the US get the common cold eight or more times each year
HOW IS IT TREATED?
- It is usually treated with painkillers or decongestants.
IS THERE A CURE?
- No, there is no cure yet for the common cold.
