• Give your baby/child time to play and wind down before he/she goes to sleep.
• Dress your baby/child appropriately for bed.
• Create a calm and quiet enviroment.
• Keep up a good routine and stick to it.
• Make sure you have everything ready for bedtime so it is planned and will be easier to do.

• Use special sleeping bags, swaddles or blankets with holes in when getting your child/baby into bed.
• Rock your baby in a rocking chair or glider.
