Notes:
Green-Tree Frog:
-Depending on tempurature, it changes colors
-Blend in w/green leaves, plants, etc.

Goanna:
-Live in burros for protection

Bandicoot:
-Pointed snout to get food

Rufous Owl:
-Silent wings so prey can't hear

Kingfisher:
-Small wings to help it dive

  • Cauliflory

Plant Adaptations:

Cauliflory - Grows on main branch instead of smaller branches so that it is not easy to take off.

Selaginella - Leaves change color from blue to green when direct sunlight is put on leaves. This is to take in the energy from photosynthesis.

Native Hibiscus - Large leaves to receive maximum sunlight.

Banana tree leaf - Large leaves used to absorb sunlight for photosynthesis.

Idiot fruit - Have become toxic and unappealing to predators such as birds and other animals.
