• It's upbeat
• It's fun to dance to
• Pop is catchy
• It is memorable

Pop was popular in the 1950's and has been popular ever since

• His most famous was "after the ball" and was his first
• Many of his music was sheet music and that was first considered pop

Pop music is way different now because we don't use sheet music as often as we would've in the 1950's

POP IS ALSO DIFFERENT NOW BECAUSE

• Pop songs now have beats combined with another
• Pop songs now just talk about sex and drugs- not all songs but most
