Nazi physicians did a series of scientific experiments on concentration camp prisoners
(Jews, Poles, Russians)
23 leading physicians were put on trial in 1948 for their participation in crimes
against humanity.
Leading targets:
-mentally challenged
-institutionalize mentally ill
-physically impaired
High altitude conditions, malaria, freezing, poison gas, bone transplantation, salt water consumption, sterilization, typhus, and more.
After 140 days of proceedings, sixteen doctors were found guilty and seven were sentenced to death.
