PRESENTATION OUTLINE
In the spring of 1846, 90 emigrant left Springfield, Illinois to head West.
Two brothers, Jacob and George Donner were leading the group.
The Donner's were taking a "new" trail which supposedly was a short-cut.
Instead the trail was long and treacherous which got them trapped on the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
