THE CAUSE OF THE DUST BOWL
- Farmers dug up area that wasn't suppose to be dug up
- And then the dirt was all lose

WHAT PEOPLE DID TO LIVE
- Most farmers had to go to the government
- That's were they got jobs
- Some times the had up to seven jobs at a time

WHAT HAPPENED WHEN PEOPLE GOT SICK
- If anyone got sick they would have to pay 1 dollar
- If children got sick they would have to take them cough syrup
- If adults got sick they would have to deal with it and try to live

WHAT HAPPEND TO ANIMALS
- Some animals died
- The other animals got very sick
- There was a place that took cows so they could eat to get fat
- Were the cows went they all just died of
- Goverment bought cows so people could eat them

WHAT HAPPEND TO THE FOOD AND CROPS
- Lots of people were getting paid for there food
- The prices got higher during the dust bowl
- The wheat crops all blew away when the first storm came

- The dust bowl lasted for 8 years
- Almost all the children died
- They never dug up the wrong dirt again
- The grass grew back to is way it was
