Born in London, England in 1759
She was in the middle class and was the second of seven children
Her first job was a paid companion to Mrs. Sarah Dawson in Bath city
Her most famous work was "A Vindication of the Rights of Women

Wrote the a Vindication of the Rights of Women
She envisioned a future when women could pursue virtually any career
She was strongly voicing more rights for women
She also fought for girls education
Wollstonecraft felt that they could men and women could be equal in social society

Political Veiws
Mary Wollstonecraft was against the monarchical form of government.
Mary helped reform France's government after the French Revolution.
She also called for the reform of England's government as well.
She supported John Locke's views on human right to life, liberty, etc.
Her views at the time on Democracy were controversial
