THE FALL OF ROME

WHEN

WHO WAS INVOLVED?

• Emperor Constantine played a big part in the destruction of Rome.
• The Visigoth army definitely helped to defeat Rome

HOW DID IT FALL

• Rome was completely destroyed in 476 CE, when Odoacer the Germanic ruler took over
• Everything from 313 CE when Christianity became the religion of Rome, was the downfall of the Roman empire. Christianity created controversy within the general population

WHY DID IT FALL

• Rome fell for many reasons
• The main reason was, it got extremely big and hard to control
• They weren't training as hard and using the same techniques that got them in power
• Rome was left undefended before the Visigoths completely pillaged it

Despite how hard Rome fell, we still remember them to be one of the most dominant civilisations ever to exist. The millennium in which they ruled was full of power and glory.
