WHO WERE THE FLAPPERS?

The flappers were a group of women who awaited a 72 year struggle of trying to get the right to vote and they would party, sing, dance and because of the fact they couldn’t vote they would do things instead they would smoke, drink, and would have sex in a casual manner then they would go to party.

Some of the most popular of the flappers include: Clara bow, coco Chanel, Joan Crawford etc

WHEN DID THE FLAPPERS START

The flappers started from 1883-1971 before the 1920 girls had long hair and they were more secure about them selves

Society saw them very differently they saw them reckless and crazy because they would party all night where short skirts and cut their hair and wear lots of makeup they saw them unnecessary to the world at time.

So as you can see they would try to stick out and make their self noticeable they wanted to have fun all the time and were risk takers
