• The quote goes with the theme because it shows he wanted something because it had seemed pleasurable, but he knew it was wrong and against the rules. Som thus shows how all pleasure, such as bathing together is restricted.

CHAPTERS 6-8

• Some qualities can't be defined but only known that one has it.
• "Finally, the Receiver must have one more quality, and it is one that I can only name, not describe."

CHAPTERS 9-12

• Change is inevitable.
• " Well, everything is different now."
