THE GIVER END-OF-NOVEL ACROSTIC POEM

N- Never knew what release was, until he saw the release tape of the twin.
A- Always looks out for Gabe.
S- Saved Gabe when he was going to be released.
G- "Giver turned to him. 'Well, there you are, Jonas. You were wondering about release,' he said in a bitter voice." (p. 151)
I- "I am empowered to lie. But I have never lied to you." (p. 153)
V- Visions were transmitted from the Giver to Jonas.
E- Endured the pain of his daughter being released.
R- Rosemary was his beloved daughter. Who couldn't handle being receiver and asked to be released.
