One of the economic achievements of the Golden Age of Islam was paper. Although paper would look not much like a great success, it proved that writing on paper was much faster and easier than writing on papyrus. It was widely used through out the Islamic kingdom in a short span of time, being used by the government and sold in stores as written books.
Although there are many intellectual successes during this time period, one of the most important achievements was the invention of Algebra, created by Al–Khwarizmi, who wrote an Algebra textbook about the subject.
The political achievements of the Islamic empire made it flourish during the 8th through 13th centuries. As the Islamic empire grew, trade increased throughout the land, with both information and goods being traded in the empire.
Last but not least, the social achievements! As the Islamic empire grew, their customs spread out throughout the land. Everyone practiced the same customs and spoke the same language, making communication easier!
