  • Luke is considered a Gentile Christian
  • Luke wrote his own account
  • He wrote for the Gentiles, because of the society
  • It varies on where he written it
  • This gospel shows that Jesus was Loyal

  • The people he aimed for was those who are low in society
  • He wrote the account in late 70's ad
  • It was written to prove that Jesus is the son of man as well

How He started the Gospel

  • He started his gospel by dedicating a passage to Theophilus

The Parables he Wrote about

  • Don't Judge, Lest you be Judged
  • Another is that a Tree is known by it's fruit

The Beatitudes

  • Some of the beatitudes he wrote were
  • Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of god
  • Blessed for you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied
  • Bless are you who weep now, for you will laugh
  • Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude, insult, and reject your name, because of the son of man
  • Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry.
  • The Beatitudes were also written in Matthew.
  • The Difference between the two is that Luke focused on the poor in society while Matthew focused on the poor in spirit
