The great depression

• Economic crisis beginning with the stock market crash
• Black Tuesday on wall street investors trade 16,410,030
• The banks took many loans out that couldn't be liquidate 

stock market crash

• Stock prices went up and down throughout 1925 and 1926,
• March 25 1929 the stock market suffered a mini-crash
• The stock market crash people had to sell stocks

FAMILY'S

• Many family's were living on the streeets
• Also there were people living in other people houses
• Not many people could afford the price of the house a

jobs

• Many people were in of jobs because the huge prices  
• The owner of businesses couldn't pay for the workers any more
• The peolpe that had jobs were very lucky becuase they could support there f

money

• During the great depression the money had no us
• Many of the kids play with stack of money 
• People had to bring wheelbarrows to buy food for there family's (bread) 

money

• Most of all the money was useless 
• People had to burn the money for heat in there homes
• Also the supplies they had to buy were millions of dollars

• Many people had to live on the street
• This happen do to the the stock market crashing
• This went world wide when the usa try to help germany

• The house were so really bad (terrible)
• The floors were mad out of dirt and the walls out of cement
• This living condition could have lead to death

people things

• People would have to sell there things due to money 
• Business people would come out of town to buy these things
• They would buy cars,house,and business place

GREAT depression begins

• The great depression begins on October 29 1929 
• This event was called black Tuesday
• This went on foe a while 1929-early 1940

banks

• Many people that had there money in the bank could not get there money out
• This was do to the market crash so the money had no use to it 
• The banks where almost pointless during the depression
