WHAT IS FOOTBALL?
Football is a game where two teams of 11 players try to use different plays to score points.
The defense tries to prevent opponents from scoring.
You can score by either scoring a touchdown, field goal, or safety.

THE FIELD
The field is 100yds (300 ft) long. And 53yds (159ft) wide.
There is a field goal post on each side of the field.

Touchdown: 6 points
Extra point: self explanatory
2 point conversion: self explanatory.
Field goal: 3 points.

A conference is a group of teams.

Football is evolving with rules and materials.
Examples: there is now more rules against physical contact to prevent players from getting hurt.
