The History of Electo-Pop

How is it important to our society, and why is it popular?
It is popular because it was a new genre of music and a new type of pop. It is important to our society because music helps shape the personality, and how we interact with each other. Music s a very important part of our society, music shapes the state of mind and is full of expression. Electro-pop and pop usually create an up-beat mood. Electro pop was popular in 2012-2014 because that's when most of the songs were created from of the songs were of the songs were created from most of the artists of electro-pop.

Then in the year 1974 the Germans were still credited for the synthesizer, because of the tones made by Stockhaunsen. 1978 the British used tech and make punk music. A world wide anthem for electro pop was made by Gary Newman, in 1979. 1981 there is a new British in invasion as more British artistes who sang with electro pop music.

1982 is when the album "Cybotron Clear", there was an out break of African american artiest such as DJ's. An artiest called Stacey Q in the year 1986 made very tacky songs, and electro pop songs. Between the years 1992-1997 radio's have hits all over the world. 2000 electro pop made a very big impact o north america, with the help Madonna and Mirwais. (French producer) 2004 Scandinavians/Norwegians singer Annie makes one the best songs called "Heartbeat", witch is now an electro pop classic. 2007 Hilary Duff started to-do electro pop on her album "Dignity", which her lead song was a rip from "The music of crystal castles."

• There was a trend when girls had puffy/frizzy hair
• Cute sweaters, and pixie boots for girls
• Guys wore high heeled pixie boots
• Way too much British boy bands who sing about love
• Every song has a hoedown or about "living in the moment"

Who created Electro pop?
Electro pop isn't based on culture but probably it has some Japan, United Kingdom, and German culture in it for some say that is where it has originated, other then that electro pop is world wide genre that's very popular. The person/group that made electro pop created as a project to technical instruments to make music, which people have wanted to do in a long time. The person who thought of electro pop is unknown because there is no show of owner of electro pop on internet. I think the sound would have interested the owner of electro pop. There are some claims of who made electro pop such as Carlin Ta, German musician Gershon Kingsley,or Japanese musician Isao Tomita.
