THE MIGRATION OF JEWS TO PALESTINE IN THE 20ST CENTURY

Palestine was home to most Jewish people in the 1st century. However, they fled to Europe because of the Romans coming to Palestine. They migrated to France, England, and Spain.

After the Jewish Diaspora(A group that has been exiled) Had been in Europe, they were once again exiled(across the span of the 1200's to the 1400's). After so most Jewish people migrated to places in Eastern Europe including Poland and Russia.

Throughout these events, the Jewish were slowly migrating back to Palestine. In the 19th and 20th century, Large amounts of Jewish people were migrating back to Palestine, and a few were migrating to America. This was because Jewish people in Russia were being put in to groups and slaughtered.

Jewish people were faced with a type of discrimination called Anti-semitism. Zionism is the belief that Jewish people should own Palestine. This idea is opposed by the Arabs. This has caused a conflict with the Jewish migrating back to Palestine where the Arabs currently are.
