What is a digital footprint

• A digital footprint is what is left behind when you search the web and that can be viewed by a large, Invisible audience.
• Example: When you post or comment on someone's picture and you try to delete it, it'll actually always be there.

How to prevent leaving a negative footprint

• -Think before you post questionable pictures of yourself or others
• -Don't share stuff on social media that can come across as offensive
• -Don't say anything that you wouldn't want said to you
• Just try to avoid doing all of these things so you can have a positive footprint

Why you should care

• Let me tell you a little story about some people i knew who had made some bad choices. When I was in elementary School technology was used for many of our assignments, and when we were finished those assignment our teachers let our class use them for entertainment, one day a group of girls had spent almost the whole class period just sending rude messages to each other and that had led up to the point where two of the girls got in a argument and were ready to get physical, luckily a teacher had stopped them and read everything they had wrote to each other and all of the girls were suspended. Even though this story was from elementary School when any one of these girls go to get a job they will be checked by their employers and this small reason can be the reason why the don't get the job.
