TRADE ROUTE
The Incense Road was a major trade route used by Arabs
and it links to the eastern and southern areas of the Mediterranean.
The items and goods delivered include spices from neighboring countries, to refined gold and other
luxury goods.

WHAT TIME PERIOD DID IT TAKE PLACE
The trade route flourished from 7th century B.C to 2nd century A.D.

WHAT CHANGE DID IT BRING TO OTHER COUNTRIES
Greeks began to trade with India for the first time.
Trade for spices between Arabs and Indians became important.
Solitary countries became more united with foreign countries.

CONCLUSION
Overall, the Incense trade route helped create a bond between many
unfamiliar countries in which that bond created unity and trust around
the Mediterranean.
