The founder of the Jesuit order was a man by the Name of Ignatius of Loyola

The Jesuit order was established in August 1534 in France

The Jesuit order was established because they wanted to convert people back to Catholicism and other parts of the world. They are known for their missionary works

There is no exact person linked with its establishment in America. The country of France sent in Jesuits which is the first sign of their presence in America

The first mission was in 1609 and was started by the French in New France. They wanted to convert the native Americans

The Jesuit order was able to establish some kind if root in America. Not so much with the French but with the Spanish. They also established the church in the U.S.
