  • The Irish name Kehoe came from a number of native Gaelic MacEochaidh Septs that were located in Counties Tipperary, Roscommon and Wicklow. It is in these Counties that the majority of descendants can still be found. Ballymackeogh in Tipperary and Keoghs country in Roscommon are placenames they established.
