The Kingdom of God is like a party because it is a celebration and everyone is invited.

The Kingdom of God is like a garden because each plant that grows in it is different and we are all different. Each flowers relieves help from the gardener, God, but in the end flourishes on its own to become a beautiful flower.

The Kingdom of God is like an Oasis because we may wander many miles without the live giving water we need. However, if we make an effort to find it, we many encounter true happiness and eternal life with.

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field" (Matthew 13:44). The kingdom of God is compared to this because this comparison carries with the idea that heaven is very valuable, but hard to find, just like buried treasure.

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it" (Matthew 13:45-46). The kingdom of God is like a merchant looking for fine pearls because although the merchant goes to great lengths to find a valuable pearl, once he finds one so sumptuous, he will essentially will give up everything for it. This process is similar to those who find the kingdom of God, where once you discover it, you will want to give up everything to enter it.
