Houses

• The Kiowa Indians lived in Buffalo hides called tipis (tepees).
• They used tipis so that when they travel they can have them ready in one hour.

What The People Did

• Kiowa women jobs were to take care of the house and when the tribe moves the women carry the house with them.
• The men were hunters and warriors and men were usually only the chiefs.
• Both men and women told stories,art and did music.
