had 7 different debates.

First debate was in Ottaw illinois.

 there was 10-12,000 people attending.

2nd debate: Freeport, illinois.

15,000 people recorded in newspaper accounts.

3rd debate: Jonesboro, illinois.

1500 people came and the majority of people moved from slave-holding states.

11 railroad cars came from indiana including 12000 people.

People were charged 1 dollar to attend and there was only 5000 people there.
