PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Long ago on an island far, far away, lived a princess in a castle with her five sisters. Oh, I can't forget her Step-Mother and her father. Whom she loved very dearly, except her Step-Mother...
One early morning someone knocked on Ariel's bedroom door. Nobody ever knocked on Ariel's door. Everybody waited for her downstairs in the dining hall for breakfast.
Ariel slowly opened her door, not knowing who or what was behind it. As she opened her door her eldest sister was standing eagerly behind, looking as if she had some exciting news to share. So she asked, "Good morning to you too, what is so important that you have to interrupt me?" Her face became huge with excitement as she blurted, 'THERE IS A REALLY HANDSOME PRINCE WAITING FOR YOU DOWNSTAIRS!"
As the day went on (turns out he was really handsome) she spent most of her day trying to figure out this mans trick! Ariel just knew that there was something about him that she couldn't figure out. "All of my sisters are head over heals for him!" exclaimed Ariel. The day went on and Prince Ryan wanted to take Ariel on a boat ride out into the sea.
By the time they got far enough out Ariel wanted to take a swim, But unfortunately she forgot her swimsuit back at the Castle. As Ariel looked up she became quite in shock at how much of a wave was headed right at them. Before she knew what was happening, she was underwater without a single drop of oxygen left in her. All of a sudden, she felt smooth, soft hands wrap around her, her body. Ariel thought it was Ryan, but couldn't see him.
When Ariel woke up she was laying on sand on an unfamiliar island, with someone or something watching her from the water. As it came closer she not only realized it was a man, she realized that it was a merman. Ariel was the only one in her family not to believe mermaids were real. As their eyes met she knew that this was love at first sight. (Ariel also didn't believe in lover at first sight) She knew right then that she couldn't marry Prince Ryan and she had to marry this merman.
Ariel talked with the merman soon to find out that his name was Prince Alex and he was the Prince of the lost city of Atlantis. " Thank you for saving me, exclaimed Ariel, But could you take me back to my island?" As Alex laughed he picked her up gently and swam away with her in his arms.
When Ariel got back to her Castle, just in time to eat dinner, everyone one was in disbelief of her story. She told her Father that she could not possibly marry Prince Ryan, but he wouldn't listen. crying Ariel ran all the way up to her room, but was stopped by her stepmother. "You wish to marry the underwater prince, yes? Ill make you a trade with you, but you have to agree to it." summoned her evil stepmother. "Okay what is it?" asked Ariel. As her stepmother rubbed her hands together evilly, "I'll grant you the wish to marry the prince if you give me your Fathers' love." As Ariel made the deal she thought that she could never be more happy in her life. She immediately ran down the stairs and out to the ocean to tell Prince Alex. as she was running through the kitchen her father was standing and looking at her as if she was a pest. "What are you doing in this house you filthy animal?" yelled her Father.
Ariel kept running but with tears of sadness this time, As she reached the water she called for Prince Alex, he immediately appeared and asked, "What is it my love?" Ariel told him the whole story. Prince Alex suggested softly "My dear we can just get my underwater sorcerer to give you a tail and lungs to live underwater." Alex swam away to go get the sorcerer and came back very quickly.
As he arrived the strange looking man did his magical spell and POOF! From now on Ariel was going to be a mermaid! As they arrived Prince Alex introduced Ariel to all of his twenty-seven family members. Ariel realized that she wasn't the least bit sad anymore. Her father deserved evil and that's just what he got.
The next day Atlantis was decorated beautifully for the wedding.
And now you may kiss your... Mermaid?
And they lived happily ever after,
