BROWN BARBA LOOTS

  • The thneed factory's chopping of trees affected the brown barba loots.
  • The brown barba loots ate the fruit from the trees.
  • When the trees were chopped down, they had no food.
  • They had to leave do to the lack of food. There was not enough for everyone.

BROWN BARBA LOOTS

  • The solution would be for the factory to plant more trees in addition to chopping them down.
  • This would give back to the environment so the environment would be replenished.
  • The barba loots would be able to stay, because they would have the food they needed.
  • Also the factory would be able to continue to thrive, because there would be more trees.

HUMMING FISH

  • The humming fish were effected by the thneed factory.
  • The factory made goop that was put into the pond.
  • This made the water foggy and gummed up the fishes gills.
  • This made them unable to hum.
  • They had to leave to find fresh water to live in.

HUMMING FISH

  • The solution would be to find another place to put the goop.
  • This would save the environment for the humming fish.
  • The fish could continue to live there and hum.
  • Also the factory could continue business without harming the fish.

SWOMEE SWANS

  • The Swamee swans were effected by the thneed factory.
  • The smog prevented the swans from singing.
  • There lungs were full of the smog that choked them.
  • They were forced to fly far away to find fresh air.

SWAMEE SWANS

  • The solution would be to take days off from the factory.
  • If the factory alternated days, the smog production would be cut in half.
  • This would provide the swans with a safe environment to breathe and sing.
  • Also the factory would remain open, as it would slow the enviornment destruction.

ONCE-LER

  • The once-ler was effected by the thneed factory as well.
  • When the factory shut down, the once-ler lost his business.
  • He felt guilty because he destroyed the enviornment.
  • He was left with an empty factory and one trufflula seed.

ONCE-LER

  • The solution would be the same as the first three.
  • All three solutions would slow down business.
  • However preserve the enviornment.
  • The factory could continue to build thneeds.
  • The environment would be safe and healthy.

INDUSTIALIZATION

  • The problem represented in the lorax is industrialization.
  • The factory cause the thneed production to go up, but it hurt the enviornment
  • The animals were forced to leave, because it was uninhabitable.
  • Eventually, the business itself was hurt, because the thneeds were all gone.
  • Maybe if the once-ler had used different methods, the enviornment and business could coexist.
