The Mayans made the arrows, by finding a strait stick, and sharpening a flint to a sharp point, and tying it together with horse/cattle hair.

They made the bow by, getting a 3-4 foot stick, and soaking it in water for about, 2-3 hours, then, they put it on a board, which held it bending about 2/4 to the side.

But, they started to hunt, at about 17-18 years old.

That's when they started to learn, and go on hunting trips.

Only the men hunted and protected.

The women stayed home and cooked, and took care of the kids, animals, and wounded men, a lot like a nurse.
