The Mayflower

On September,6,1620 the Mayflower set sail with 102 passenger and a crew.

The Mayflower was 80 ft. long and 25 ft wide.

There were three masts,the fore mast,main mast,mizzen mast on the ship.

The Mayflower was 180 tons.

The Mayflower was ment for cargo,not people.

They did not use a wheel that often they used a whipstaff.

John Carver fell overboard,but grabbed a rope and was rescued.

There were 51 men,21 boys,20 women and 10 girls.

A baby was born on the Mayflower, his name is Oceanus

William Butten died on the Mayflower and was burried at sea.

There were bad storms on the trip.

The Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock.
