Some homes had leather chairs

Many were market towns.Places were others went to buy and sell goods
Central location of the Middle colonies led to the development of major ports and cities later on,including New York and Philledelphia

Dutch girls wore full red skirt
Dutch boys wore long baggy pants,red stockings,beaver caps, and a shirt

Helped their mother make candles and clothes
Had a lot of homework
