The introduction of the Ming dynasty

The founder of the Ming dynasty was Zhu Yuanzhang in 1368.The Ming dynasty was a period of time where Mongols and Manchus ruled china which was the rise of the Ming dynasty.There were peasants that were starving and unable to pay taxes and no longer in fear of the Ming court.Peasants began to form large rebel bands.There were many natural disasters,climatic changes,plagues,and many rebellions that lead to the fall of the Ming dynasty.

THE MAJOR HISTORICAL EVENTS OF THE MING DYNASTY:

• 1367-Zhu Yuanzhang's army eliminates the military forces of the Yuan Dynasty.
• 1420-Beijing is named the capital.
• 1628-Li Zheng leads a peasant revolt against the Ming Dynasty.
• 1640- Zhang xianzhang an ex-solider created a rival rebel base.
• 1644- Emperor Chongzhen commits suicide and the Ming Dynasty ends.

Economy

In the Ming dynasty porcelain was very popular.The development of the handicraft industry promoted market economy and urbanization.Artists produced porcelain,bronze,and lacquerware.During this time the Ming dynasty's economy rate increased with trade of Europeans visiting China

The beginning of Christianity
In 1582 a Jesuit called ricci traveled to Macau,some of his fellow Jesuits highly appreciated the philosophy and the culture of the Ming dynasty.From there on the teachings of Confucianism and daosim were taught.The mission of Jesuits in China played an important role in the Ming dynasty, because they discovered a new religion called Christianity.

Summary of the Ming dynasty:

Overall the rise if the Ming dynasty lead to the trade with porcelain,bronze,and lacquerware.which made a great increase in their economy.What lead to the fall of the Ming dynasty was the fact that there were many natural disasters,climatic changes,the plague,monetary crisis,and rebellion toward the dynasty.The Ming dynasty was a very successful dynasty.But struggled to rise again.
