DR. PELLINORE WARTHROP

• Personality, Very Paradoxical, described as brilliant yet obtuse with a huge ego. Enthusiastic and Curious.
• Protagonist
• Dynamic, changes from cold, shallow, and apathetic, to caring on few occations.

ANTHROPOPHAGUS

• "Anthropophagi are not native to the Americans. Northern and Western Africa, the Caroli Islands, but not here... they are not natural scavengers... Anthropophagi prefer fresh flesh, but there are drives even more powerful then hunger... the female can breed, but she cannot bear. She lacks a womb. you see, for that location of her anatomy is given to another more vital organ; her brain."
• A mythical race of cannibalistic creatures.

Setting

• Gloomy, 1800's.
• New Jerusalem, location- A town which the story takes place
• In the "Americas", including North and South America.

Moving Forward(Theme)

• For the main character and story, Moving forward is a predominant element to the story.
• Will lost his parents, it effected him greatly; although through-out the story, he moved on. Working closely and hard with Dr. Warthrop.

Plot & Climax

• Inciting Incident
• The "Incident" is when Dr. Warthrop and Will Henry are brought a body from Mr. Grey, a old grave robber that had found the body of a young girl, with a Anthropophagus attached to the corpse. Knowing they are not native to the Americas; Pellinore and Will seek out to start the hunt with, towns folk, and local police.

Plot

• After a fight, the battalion of Citizens and Police kill the pack of Anthropophagi, they follow the Alpha Female; which was fleeing, and take it's life.

Plot

• The Climax
• Motley Hill Sanatorium, Will and the Doctor went to seek a man, Dr. Starr. He had helped Pellinore's father, and helped Pellinore. Leading him to a ship captain, Captain Varner; he told them the story of a trip to Africa. Obtaining three Anthropophagi, a cub, a Alpha Female, and an Alpha Male. They were bringing them back, but due to a storm- they climbed out the left porthole. Killing the crew but not the Captain. He managed to escape, causing the infestation.

Plot

• The Resolution
• After talking with Captain Varen, the infestation being completed. It soon ended there, having the conflict being resolved.
