THE BLESSED TRINITY

• The passage Matthew 28:8-18 is the first great commission that Jesus gave to his Apostles.
• -The purpose was to spread the good news to the end of the Earth
• Jesus assured the apostles and us that he would remain with the church until the end.
• - of time.
• It told the apostles that they were to invite others to follow Jesus.

• -They did that by baptizing and teaching the people.
• Jesus specially instructed the apostles to baptize in the name of
• - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
• These are all the reasons why Matthew 28:8-18 was very important.

THE MYSTER OF THE BLESSED TRINITY

• The blesed trinity is a mystery in central dogma of catholic and christian faith
• The doctrine of the trinity teaches that there are three divine persons in one God
• The mystery of faith is a truth that will always be beyond human understanding
• We only know about trinity because of the incarnation of Gods son.

GOD IS A LOVING FATHER

• YHWH= I Am( the only God)
• God created humans in his image and likeness
• Even though humans are tainted with sin, Humans will never stop being good
• God sent his son to redeem us-shows how much He loves humans

THE TRAITS OF GOD

• God is infinite and omnipotent
• God is eternal
• God is perfect snd contains all things
• God is supremely holy
• God is personal

GOD'S FATHERLY LOVE

• The chosen people saw God as a loving Father who created the world.
• Jesus taught that the Father of the Chosen people, the Creator God who made covenants with them,
• Was also HIS Father.
• Jesus was the very image of the Invisible God
• Jesus tells us to pray to the father frequently, trusting that our heavenly father will answer us.

CONT.

• We have to be consistent in our prayers
• The father's love immeasurable and it is a gift showered on good and bad people alike
• The healing miracles of Jesus reveled a compassionate God.

REVELATION ABOUT GOD SON

• The Old Testament used the tilte "Son of God" in a variety of different ways .
• -Sometimes it referred to Israel, king, or angels.
• Christians believe that Jesus is "the human face of God."
• - In The Synoptic Gospels, Jesus did reveal himself to be the Son of God.

THE MEANING OF THE PARABLE OF THE TENANTS

• In this story,a vineyard owner sent his servants to tenants to collect the produce of the vineyard.
• Evil tenants cheated the owner by beating and killing the servants.
• The owner then sent his son "to them last of all, thinking,'They will respect my son'"(Mk 12:6)
• The parable is an allegory that tells how God had sent prophets(the servants) to the Jews(the tenants)
• The prohets were abused;some were killed. That was when God decided to send his only Son into the world.
