NATIONAL YOUTH ADMINISTRATION (NYA)

IT WAS ESTABLISHED ON JUNE 26, 1935

The NYA provided work training and financial support for U.S citizens between the ages of 16-25.

The NYA affects and benefits young adults between 16-25 if they are U.S citizens in need of money or a Job

The NYA wasn't successful or unsuccessful. It did its job well. It helped over 4.5 million young adults. But it closed down in 1943 due to the rising rate of unemployment in young adults.

The NYA worked from 1935-1939 then it was changed to the Federal Security Agency. It completely shut down in 1943
