• The Neatherlands government is monarchy which means that there is a queen and a king
• There is also a prime minister along with the queen and the king

HISTORY

• First century b.c. - mid first century b.c.Romans came
• Germanic andRomans fought during this time
• Germanic tribes won
• In the golden age or the 17th century Amsterdam became center of trade in Europe
• Dutch cutler and art also became popular because it was center of trade

GEOGRPHY

• Flat with few hills and no mountains
• Occupies an area of 16,031 square miles
• Close to North Sea
• Winter is an average of 35 degrees Fahrenheit the average temp of summer is 63 degrees Fahrenheit
• Receives little sun shine and only 31 inches of rain a year
• Spring is dry and best known for its flowers
• Fruits and vegetables grow in Dutch soil
• Limited wild life: mammals
• Cattle are raised on farms through out the Neatherlands
