PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Scylla & Charybdis
In order to get home Odysseus and his men must either face Schylla or Charybdis. Scylla is a six headed monster with twelve legs who would eat six men, while charybdis will destroy the ship and eat everyone.
Helios (Sun God)
Odyssey and his men go to the sun gods island where Odysseus urges his men not to eat any of his cattle. While Odysseus is sleep his men eats the cattle and Zeus sinks the ship and drowns everyone but Odysseus.
Calypso's Island
Odysseus spends 7 years on the beautiful goddess Calypso's island. Athena gets Zeus to send Hermes to tell Calypso to let Odysseus go and help him build a raft. His journey is made hard by Posiedon and he ends up in Scheria.
Homecoming
Odysseus returns to Ithica and is disqiused as a begger and is mistreated by suitors. He wins Penelopes' challenge to marry her and comes back to hims regular apperence to kill the suitors.
