• The Cicones are people who battle Odysseus and his men.
• They are known to live on the southwestern coast of Thrace.

LOTUS EATERS

• Lotus eaters are people who eat the lotus plant.
• The lotus eaters feed Odysseus's men the plant which makes them not wanna leave.

CYCLOPS

• The cyclops is known as the one-eyed giant that eat a few of Odysseus's men.

ISLAND OF AEOLUS

• Aeolus is known as the god of winds.
• Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of bad winds to help him get home.
• Odysseus's crew disobeys orders and opens the bag.

LAESTRYGONIANS

• On this island there lives giant cannibals that destroy all the other ships but not Odysseus's ship.

ISLAND OF CIRCE

• Circe tries turning Odysseus into a pig but fails.
• Odysseus and his crew stay for a while on the island but his crew later escapes.

THE ISLAND OF THE DEAD

• While Odysseus is in the land of the dead he searches to learn his destiny.

CIRCE'S ISLAND

• Receives a warning about three obstacles he is about to face.

THE SIRENS

• The sirens are known to sing and make it where captains turn their ships around towards the rocks and crash.
• Odysseus wants to be the first person to hear them sing so he tells the crew to tie him to the ship.

SCYLLA

• Scylla is known to be a six-headed monster that eats six of Odysseus's men.

SUN GOD (HELIOS)

• When Odysseus gets to Helios's island he goes off to prey.
• While preying the gods put him into a deep sleep.
• When Odysseus wakes up he finds his crew feasting on the Sun god's cattle.

CALYPSO'S ISLAND

• After Odysseus's crew is dead, he stays on Calypso's island For seven years.

THE LAND OF THE PHAECIANS

• Odysseus washes up on the shore and the king's daughter finds him.
