  • Making maple syrup
  • Repair lodges & build new

SUMMER

  • They live near rivers or lakes
  • Women plant or tend do their crops
  • The men took care of their young

AUTUMN

  • Harvest rice from canoes
  • Lives in ponds marshes and laes wher wild rice grew

WINTER

  • They lived many miles away from their nearest neighbor
  • They supplied wild rice, sugar, and dried fish
  • Women cooked and made all of the clothes from animal skins
  • Older women wove fishing nets and hunting bags, and help cook and watch the young children
  • They also shared their food woth thier neighbors even if it meant not having enough food for the night
