The Fun starts before you even enter! The front gates of the organelle hotel is a cell membrane. The membrane allows people and things to enter/exit.

The job of the cell membrane is to regulate what goes in and out of the cell. Almost like a bodygaurd for the cell.

You are the nucleus which means you need a nuclear membrane to hold you in and protect you. Our guests deserve the best when it comes to luxury so we made our rooms as comfortable as possible.

The nuclear membrane holds the nucleus. It's job is to protect the genetic material, nucleus, and eukaryotic cells. The cell membrane is made up of 2 lipids. The inner nuclear membrane, and the outer nuclear membrane.

At our chloroplast mini-bar contains delicious drinks for the customers. Get a quick snack or a wonderful cocktail. Sit down get comfy and have a drink or two.

The chloroplast helps in the process of photosynthesis to the plant cell so it may have it's food. No chloroplast, no food!

Here at the organelle hotel EVERYONE is in control! You! The guest are the nucleus! We put our customers first! They are the center of attention!

The nucleus is the boss of the cell, it is also located at the center of the cell. The nucleus holds DNA specimens as well.

Here in the vacuole, our guests can eat t'ill their hearts content! We have an endless buffet in our hotel! We store delicious protein packed food for all of our guests!

The job of the vacuole is to hold materials and food for the cell. It's where all the important things are kept as well.

Our pools are one of our best attractions to tourists and geusts. Our pools are filled with slightly a watery gel that you can swim in!

Cytoplasm holds all the organelles inside of the cell. The organelles float on top of and sometimes inside of this cytoplasm. It's like the glue of the cell!

Our servers give you goods such as breakfast in the morning or a cup of coffee. They might even help you with tasks or support you if necessary.

The function of Golgi bodies in a cell is to help ship out materials for the organelles so they can do what they need to.

At this whacky hotel you can walk through endoplasmic reticulums through the hallways! Just another level of fun and education!


There are two types of endoplasmic reticulum (ER), smooth and rough, the rough is covered with ribosomes and deals with protein processing and sorting. The smooth ER has no ribosomes and functions in lipid metabolism.

At our gym you can be a mitochondria! Grab an exercise bike and plug in any small appliance, and once you start to run you begin to turn it on. The faster you petal the faster you charge energy!


The function of the mitochondria is to produce energy for the cell. Almost everything requires energy. it's a basic function of life! This organelle is also widely known as the powerhouse!
