This image shows the bad decisions both inmate and author Wes made. In chapter two pg. 33 inmate Wes got into an altercation with a boy about a street football game and he got punched in his face. Inmate Wes got upset and decided to grab the knife and get revenge on the boy but was stopped in his tracks by the police. Also in chapter 4 pg. 81 author Wes had got arrested for tagging a near by building in his neighborhood with the logo KK for Kid Kupid. Lastly in chapter 5 pg. 105 inmate Wes shot a boy name Ray. Ray had beaten Wes for being with “his girl” and Wes got revenge on Ray and shot him in his shoulder.

This image shows the fact that both Wes had fate played a role in their home. In chapter 1 pg. 13 author Wes became a single mother once his father had passed in his home. Also in chapter 1 pg. 24 we learn that inmate Wes didn’t know his father and met him one time. Lastly in chapter 2 pg. 38 when know that author Wes and his family had moved to the Bronx and they come to find that the neighborhood his mother thought was decent wasn’t decent anymore it was filled with addicts and drug dealers.
