A is for admire
There is a lot of admiration between the Greaser gang in The Outsiders. Johnny admires Dally. Ponyboy admires Sodapop. And so forth. But not only that, the Greaser gang all admire girls.
B is for Bicker
The Greasers and Socs bicker a lot. Along with the two different groups bickering, many of the boys in the greasers bicker. For example, Dally bickered to the girls in Chapter 2. The Greasers bicker between each other about random stuff. Such as, dropping out of school, staying out of trouble, talking to girls..etc.
C is for Corvair
Corvair is the type of cars the "Socs" drove during the 60's. In The Outsiders, Socs drove red Corvairs. Usually a few Socs rode in one.
D is for Darry
Darry is Ponyboy's oldest brother in The Outsiders. Darry is hard and firm and rarely grins at all. He is 20 years old. He's tuff and tough.
E is for Edgy
Johnny is very edgy. His home situation makes Johnny very irritable. Also, because Johnny got beaten up pretty badly he's more nervous when nice cars drive by, or Socs are around.
F is for fear
In The Outsiders every character has there own level of fear. They are all scared of many different things. For example, Johnny has the fear of getting jumped. Or, Ponyboy has the fear if being an outsider.
G is for Greaser
The term "Greaser" was used to class all boys on the East side. Greasers are poorer than the Socs and even middle class people. Greasers are close with their 'gangs'. They are considered stupid, and poor.
H is for Happy
Happy describes Two-Bit Mathews, the oldest out of the greasers gang. He was always in a good mood, cracking jokes and gives his two sense of everything. Giving him the name "Two-Bits".
