A is for awkward
Because pony boy is younger than the others so he gets put into awkward situations and the others mess with him a lot.
B is for black handled switch blade.
The switch blade belonged to Two-Bit. He loved his switch blade it was his most prized possession.
C is for Cherry
Cherry valance is a soc girl. She was watching the movie with Marica when she was seated by pony boy and the others.
D is for Darry
Pony boy's oldest brother. Darry wants pony boy to go to school and get that chance because he didn't so he now watches over pony boy and soda.
E is for encouraging
Darry is being very encouraging to pony boy because he cares about his brother and wants to protect him and make sure he's doing good.
F is for fourteen
Pony boy was fourteen years old. He was the youngest out of the others and they messed with him a lot.
G is for Greasers
Greasers are a gang but not like the socs. They are called greasers for their greasiness. Pony boy is a greaser with his brothers and friends.
H is for haircut
The greasers had to cut their hair because they weren't like the socs. Pony boy didn't want to get his haircut, he was afraid he'll look different.
I is for innocent
Pony boy was innocent but still runs away with Johnny. And when he says stay gold to pony boy he is telling him to stay innocent and young.
J is for Jumped
The socs always jump the greasers. They have jumped Johnny and pony boy. The socs are known to jump the greasers.
K is for knowledge
Dally has the most knowledge, he's been in jail before and knows what it's like to get into fights a lot. He went through a lot of stuff and it's made him bitter
L is for lonely
Pony feels lonely but he has good grades and is a good runner but he's a greaser so he's not supposed to feel out of place making him lonely.
M is for mean
Everyone is mean to each other. Sometimes they're joking but other they're serious. Everyone except soda and Johnny in the gang are mean to pony.
N is for neglect
Johnny's parents leave him and abuse him. When his mom visits m in the hospital Johnny doesn't want to see her because he knows she'll blame him for everything.
O is for outsiders
Pony boy and cherry are outsiders. Outsider means someone who grew up in a gang but don't fit in the standards. They feel out of place. Outsiders is the name of the book.
P is for pony boy
Pony boys is a greaser. He's the youngest of his siblings, Darry and soda. Youngest in the gain, main character. He's intelligent and sporty.
Q is for questions
Many events can be questioned. Pony boy and Johnny are questioning if they should turn themselves him and if Johnny is going to or pony and soda are going to boys house.
