I is for IQ
the greaser gang has very low IQ's. The socs have very high IQ's because they are hard workers and teachers always prefer them over the greasers.

J is for Jobs
The socialists don't have to work usually because their family's have tons of money. Greasers usually have to work to make a living or they can't even get a job because of their education.

K is for kill
Johnny and pony boy were being beat up and Johnny pulled out a knife and stabbed bob. Johnny and pony boy are now on the run and come back to the Greaser gang.

L is for lonely
Johnny and pony boy are on the run from the cops and by themselves. They end up feeling very lonely by themselves.

M is for money
The greaser don't have any money. They do some jobs to get money or work for other people. The socialists have lots of money. They don't have to work for anything and have tons of money.

N is for Notify
The cops usually don't get notified when the socialists beat up the greasers. Whenever the greasers beat up one of the socs, the cops are there in minutes.

O is for Outsiders
The main outsiders in the story are Ponyboy and Cherry. Ponyboy doesn't fit in with either of the greasers or the socialists. Cherry is the same way, everybody is an outsider in one way or another.

P is for Ponyboy
Ponyboy is the main outsider in the story. Ponyboy is smart and intelligent like a soc. But Ponyboy is also poor and more like a greaser.

Q is for queasy
Ponyboy and Johnny feel queasy when they kill bob with the switchblade. They run away from home on the run from the cops.
