Touch - the burning walls

The narrators sense of touch is shown as the burning walls begin to close in on him.
Fear, panic, sweating

Smell - the reek of the dead bodies in the pit.
The narrators sense of smell is expressed when he trips and nearly falls into the pit & smells the dead bodies.
Disgust, nauseouness

Hearing - the "plunk"
The narrator hears the plunk of the rock being dropped down the pit into the water so he finds out how far of a fall it would be.

Anticipation, confusion

Taste - drinking the drugged water.
The narrator drinks the water and soon feels very sleepy.
Realization, drowsy, drained

Sight - watching the Pendulum sway down.
The narrator witnesses the Pendulum swaying back and forth down towards him as he's tied down.
Helpless, anxious, gloomy, stressed, misery, funk.
