ALPINE FORGET-ME-NOT

  • It has a scent at night but no scent in the day time.
  • They bloom between July and September.
  • The forget-me-not flowers can be used in rock gardens.

DIAMOND LEAF WILLOW

  • They can grow to be 30 feet in height or just a few inches.
  • The twigs of the diamond leaf willow are made into baskets because they bend easily.
  • It provides much food for the animals of the tundra.

PASQUE FLOWER

  • The pasque flower plant spreads by reseeding itself.
  • It is useful for treating eye diseases like cataracts.
  • Similar to a strawberry seed, pasque flower fruit has a seed attached to the ovary wall.

ARTIC POPPY

  • The stems are hairy and ten to fifteen cm. high with a single flower on each stem.
  • It is lighter than other plants.
  • The arctic poppy is supposed to be very tough except for the petals of it because it is very delicate.
