Our hypothesis: The pond will have more abundance and diversity than the stream

METHOD

  • We went to the refuge and formed a hypothesis.
  • Observed invertebrates in tubs of pond and stream water
  • We sorted the invertebrates by families and species into ice cube trays
  • Then we counted the invertebrates to abundance and diversity
  • Finally we graphed our results

CONCLUSION

  • There were more of an abundanceuut of invertebrates in
  • the pond than the stream
  • There was more diversity in the pond than the stream
  • Our results supported our hypothesis
